Class Action in the European Union The Report covers the current situation with class action in EU with special emphasis on recent developments in EU Member States and on the pan European level in general. Raising Consumer Awareness of Ukrainians The survey demonstrated that quality plays a very important role in selection and purchase of goods (both food and non-food items). The majority of factors that consumers pay attention to when buying various products are connected with being confident about their quality. Consumer Protection and Practice in the EU Most countries in the EU before its recent expansion had adopted national laws establishing some or all of the eight consumer rights. The main purpose of action taken by the EU has been to create consistency between countries, mainly by establishing minimum requirements on specific consumer protection issues. |
